Time for Auto Assembly Europe 2011! We have started a cooperation with Europe's largest Transformers convention, Britain's Auto Assembly, which provides us with a number of
advantages compared to earlier conventions. For example they contribute with gifts to all participants: two Transformers comics from
IDW Publishing with covers made exclusively for Auto Assembly (2009 and 2010 editions), a number of postcards from 2009 and 2010, keychains, sticker sheets and more (For as long as supplies last).
Our schedule/programme isn't finalized yet, but just like earlier years we are offering
panels and presentations, competitions and quizzes, sales of Transformers figures och other merchandise, and more. We have one guests this year, and it's none other than Simon Furman, who will sell autographed scripts and tell us more about his writing experiences.
For the first time we're organizing the convention at a hotel, at Clarion Hotel Gillet in Uppsala. We have negotiated discounted hotel room prices
for the weekend - supply the discount code 51565 when you book your hotel room (by phone or e-mail) to get the discounted room prices.

Some important details: The primary language of the convention is English. Depending on the number of attending children we might do some events (competitions in particular) in Swedish as well, but at the moment we can't make any such promises. Since you can't get quite as much
enjoyment of the convention when you don't understand the language, we are letting children under 12 years of age come in for free (one child for every adult in the group).
The currency used at the convention is Swedish kronor, SEK. We advise attendees to get their money exchanged before the convention, and dealers to convert their prices to SEK. There are a few currency exchange stores in Uppsala, of which one is open both Saturday and Sunday, but it's still a wise idea to get the money exchanged in advance.
We do not have the capacity to handle card payments at the convention; only cash is accepted.
